Please feel free to send several photographs
to help me capture the personality of the
animal. I
do require one perfect, sharp, clear
photograph. The animal's eyes are the
most important feature of any portrait,
without clear representation, there will not
be the 'feeling of life' within the subject.
Also indicate any particular aspects you would
like included, or avoided, as the case may be.
Detailed backgrounds are possible although I
do not encourage this aspect as I feel the
subject matter alone is the focus for the
viewer.
Please
send photo's in .jpg format no smaller than
500 x 500 pixels. Original, un-edited photographs are preferred.
My portraits are produced on 3A (29cm
x 42cm) acid free premium drawing paper
300gsm. The
actual portrait, depending on the subject, is
approximately 20cm x 25cm finished.
The finished portrait will be scanned for your
approval prior to posting.
Completion is approximately 4 weeks.
Finished sketched portraits, sketch progress
scans alongside original photographs may be displayed on this
web site.
Prices
start at $180.00 AU (including registered post and
packaging within Australia) for one subject,
please email me for a quote on more
complicated works. A deposit of $80.00 AU is
required prior to commencement of your
commission.
Payment
can be made via Direct Deposit or Money Order.
